Valerie Coleman Morris

Emmy award-winning journalist, CNN anchor, and Financial Literacy Specialist

Wednesday, February 29, 2012

1:30 - 4:00pm in the Auditorium

RSVP to Staci Chang by February 24th at 415-351-7901

Please consider a question you would like answered and give it to Staci when you RSVP.

This is not a financial planning seminar, nor is Valerie Coleman Morris a Financial Planner.  Rather, this is a conversation based on the questions you give us to include:

  • How does my attitude about money affect my management of it?
  • How do I shift from thinking what I can do with my money to what it can do for me?
  • What are the tools I can use during this difficult economy to create a better relationship with my money?
  • I'm not a financial wizard and have made some financial mistakes.  How do I get back on course at this later stage in my life?

Valerie Coleman Morris is the former Business Anchor for CNN domestic and international.  In her role, she anchored CNN Headline News' personal finace segment Smart Assets which focused on those areas consumers need to understand to make sound financial planning decisions.

A broadcast career that spans more than 35 years, Morris's career began as a broadcast journalist in San Francisco. She worked for KRON-TV as a researcher, a general assignment reporter, and ultimately an anchor.

Morris is now a full-time speaker who converses with both national and international audiences about financial literacy, personal money management, and wealth building.  She holds two journalism degrees: a bachelor's from San Jose State University and a master's from Columbia University.

Copies of Valerie's newly released book,
